Since 2007, we work with the Centro Nacional Patagónico (Cenpat) : it is a laboratory dependent on the Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas (CONICET), the public Argentine entity for scientific investigation.
 
Doradillo Velas has developed cooperation with some of the 27 investigators of a specialized unit: Unit of biological investigation and management of aquatic resources. The main area of study is the aquatic ecosystem of Patagonia, with the main object to evaluate natural resources and to contribute to its conservation, management and rational exploitation.
 
One of the central items of investigation is interpreting the responses of the communities to the human activities –tourism, commercial extraction (fishing and petrol), urban development and the introduction of species.   There is also intense activity in investigation with regard to different aspects of systems analysis, anatomy, biology and ecology of the aquatic species of the region.
 
We could build and support other local, provincial or national actors of conservation such as foundations, O.N.G.s or public organisations.
