Sailing crew & scientists

Laurent Gimenez and Consuelo Almonacid, two founding members of Doradillo Velas, would be the crew when sailing Carpe Diem.

The work of the Cenpat done on the Commerson´s Dolphin (Cephalorhynchus commersonii would be carried out by two investigators - Susana Pedraza and Javier Klaish – under supervision of Enrique Crespo. They both speak English and Spanish. The organization of the expedition would be carried out by the collaboration between the investigators and Doradillo Velas.

Enrique Crespo is a doctorate marine biologist at the Universidad de Buenos Aires (thesis 1988) and primarily works in ecology of marine mammals in Patagonia. He is the leading investigator of the Cenpat and coordinator of America del Sur for the Cetacean Specialist Group. Nowadays, Enrique Crespo is directing two studieson the Commerson´s Dolphin (Cephalorhynchus commersonii) the studies are the following:

 - Susana N. Pedraza: "Ecology on the Commerson´s dolphin (Cephalorhynchus comersonii) in the Patagonialittoral".

 - Mariano A. Coscarella:" Behaviour of the Commerson´s dolphin (Cephalorhynchus commersoniii) in Bahía Engaño, Chubut".
